Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL)/Credit transfer

If you can provide evidence that you have successfully completed the equivalent unit(s) of competency at another training provider or have equivalent previous experience, you may be eligible for Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) or credit transfer.

If you think that RPL or a credit transfer may be applicable, please contact the Tabcorp Training Coordinator at tabcorp.training@tabcorp.com.au.

Grievances

In the event that you have a grievance or complaint concerning the program, the actions of a Trainer or Tabcorp Training RTO itself, you can submit a complaint to the Tabcorp Training Coordinator. Please note that all complaints need to be submitted in writing to tabcorp.training@tabcorp.com.au.

Training & Assessment Appeals

Tabcorp Training RTO seeks to ensure that participants are satisfied with their training product and its outcomes. Any complaint about any assessment will be treated seriously, investigated thoroughly, and dealt with according to the merit of the complaint.

You have the opportunity to appeal an assessment/decision if you believe that one or more of the following has occurred:

  • An error occurred in the calculation of the results
  • Assessment did not comply with criteria published
  • Assessment did not comply with the principles of assessment

If you wish to submit an appeal please notify your trainer (if applicable) or Tabcorp Training Coordinator as soon as possible. Please note that all appeals need to be submitted in writing to tabcorp.training@tabcorp.com.au.

Refunds

A refund of all or part of the program fee may be given in the following circumstances:

  • A program has been cancelled by the RTO
  • The fee has been overpaid
  • The participant formally withdraws before or after participating in a learning activity (reviewed on a case by case basis)

The Tabcorp Training RTO Manager will review each circumstance as it arises and determine a suitable outcome.
